BORNEO
(Kinabatangan River)
This stunning and diverse area makes a beautiful setting for our trip
We interact with local people to learn about their cultures and customs; take to the treetops and enjoy the miracles of nature around us; gain an understanding of the history of the area; and get close up and personal with the amazing flora & fauna of Sabah.
While staying at the camp on the Kinabatangan River, students have the chance to interacting with members of the local community, get involved with our ongoing community service & environmental projects, and take part in village events.
Our service & community insight trips are a great way for students to grow socially, emotionally and academically. As such the trips provide students opportunities to learn and develop physically and intellectually while being fully immersed in a different environment. Students will return from these excursions with an improved self-perception, increased academic skill-set and a robust sense of the environmental dynamics of the region visited.
