Perhaps it’s the ancient sights that we’ve heard about of all our lives and now want to see for ourselves, or maybe it’s the spectacular coastline, lovely beaches and the laid back island lifestyle. In this land of blue sky and island speckled seas it’s easy to understand why so many myths and legends of gods and giants have originated here.

To truly understand and appreciate something, you should study its roots. And so much of what we take for granted today has its roots in Greece that a trip here is essential to the understanding of much of modern life. Greece saw the birth and growth of democracy, Western drama, Western philosophy, the Olympic Games, Western literature, political science and many major scientific and mathematical principles.
