Laotian people have a refreshingly laid-back approach to the pace of life that most of us could learn from. You will be greeted with a smile wherever you go and immediately fall for the charm of this beautiful pristine country.

Our trip focuses on villages near the ancient royal city of Luang Prabang, arguably the most charming city in Asia. The sight of hundred of monks silently collecting alms each morning is one of the most refreshingly peaceful experiences in the world. Then as we head into the villages for the service component we are introduced to cultures and a way of life that have remained intact and minimally affected by outside influence for centuries. We work closely with a variety of ethnic groups on useful service projects in their communities. We stay in their houses and dive into village life in a way that is so much deeper than normal tourists have the chance to. The stunning landscapes, charming people and timeless villages all combine to make this beautiful country an unmissable treat.
