We hike deep into the mountain ranges along the borders with Laos and China, to enter the lives of these incredible people known for their beautifully intricate traditional dress. But we are not here to stand back and look. We join the community to work with them on a service project helping and supporting them in this area of vast poverty. We join in their lives as they harvest the rice from the huge rice terraces spreading as far as they eye can see down the spectacular mountain range.

After the project we take a memorable journey into the mystical Halong Bay. On a traditional junk boat we head out into the bay to explore the thousands of limestone karsts, getting right amongst them as we take to kayaks to paddle around. And we see more incredible people as we join the fishermen who live on the floating villages, some of whom will never step on dry land in their entire lives!
