Tanzania

Our Tanzania Service Trip focuses on the culture and customs of the local people, without ignoring the stunning flora & fauna in this breathtaking country.

Indago service trips are all based on the same successful model, but each one is an incredibly unique trip in itself. These life-changing opportunities are particularly suited to older students, and provide the students, the teachers and the school a perfect chance to provide hope and empowerment to people in the chosen area, as well as serving a specific, clearly identified need in a remote region.

Our Tanzanian Service Trip focuses on the culture and customs of the local people, without ignoring the stunning flora & fauna in this breathtaking country. It’s a camping trip, and very different from anything the students are likely to experience on a family holiday. Returning to the comfortable, well equipped campsites at the end of each day, the visiting student are expected to work closely with our local staff and participate in camp chores.

The students will come back from the trip with new friends, incredible memories and as more mature, socially aware global citizens. The value of the trip will reach into many parts of the students’ lives, and the cross-cultural relationships developed will be a source of happiness and inspiration for many years to come. The school will also benefit from developing links and relationships across the world, and becoming part of a bigger global network.
